Who Are We?
Transparent Copy of Logo- MORE ROOM INC.png

More Room Inc. is an non-for-profit company that is committed to building and equipping individuals with stand-alone rooms to help them launch and grow their businesses, helping existing businesses employees go remote and/or building a home for the couple who longs to explore. Each "room" is uniquely built here in Chicago.

We work with Junior and Seniors on Chicago's Westside to learn the basics of CAD design and introducing them to the basics of construction. We then take these students and they become our employees as they build the off the grid "rooms. As we use PEX piping and filtration for our bathrooms, and place electrical lines behind the framed and insulated walls, they learn the basics of these trades. We partner with trade schools to help them earn trade certification. We each them business basics and walk them through financial stewardship through a bank partnership.

Many companies today create a non-for-profit in which they funnel resources and preform services to those in need. We are a company that is a non-for-profit and through and though, from those that we train, mentor and hire, to teaching construction in schools, to being a community voice. We partner with community organizations and churches so together we can have a greater impact against the violence, lack of resources and education that plagues Chicago's  communities. We focus on the heart and the soul of those that we mentor and hire- for "Out of the heart flows the wellsprings of life"- Bible

Our  goal is for our CAD designed "rooms" are to be LEED certified and heated with passive solar and ran off of batteries. We try to be responsible with the resources that we use focusing on renewable and recyclable products such as fibers in our cerement boards, recycled plastic exterior molding and deck boards, to bamboo floors.
